Veribli Ltd is a Hull-based smart RFID technology which enables customer engagement.<\/p>\n

Atom Brewing Co is a Hull-based brewery supplying over 200 pubs, bars and restaurants.<\/p>\n

Hull smart technology company Veribli Ltd led by Matt Houldsworth, has joined forces with local brewer Allan Rice, co-founder of Atom Brewing Co, to create what is thought to be the world\u2019s first Smart Beer Pump, which allows drinkers in pubs and bars to tap the pump clip (beer logo on a pump) with their mobile phone and have detailed and informative content delivered about that beer, how it was produced and its tasting notes directly to their mobile phone.<\/p>\n

Today we launch our Smart Beer Pump at the Hull Expo taking place today (10th<\/sup> April 2024) at Princes Quay from 10am to 4pm. A showcase of the Smart Pump and the simplicity of how you tap the brewery logo (pump clip) with your mobile phone to have detailed, exciting and interactive content delivered, will happen throughout the day.<\/p>\n

The Smart Beer Pump will allow microbreweries to connect with customers who enjoy their beer in pubs and bars and engage with them and build a community around their beer. It will allow them to know who their customers are and how they enjoy their beer and allow drinkers in pubs and bars who enjoy their beer to become customers allowing them to buy canned or bottled beer directly from the brewery.<\/p>\n

Attendees to the show will also be given the chance to win a one-off, bespoke case of Atom Beers, a chance not to be missed and everyone is encouraged to get their name into the draw.<\/p>\n

The event is the first of what is hoped to be a yearly event, the Hull expo has been organised by The Business Culture Club HEY to showcase the very best businesses in Hull and the surrounding region.<\/p>\n

Atom will be rolling this new technology out to pubs and bars over the next few weeks. We encourage drinkers to interact with the Smart Beer Pumps when they see them to get interesting and detailed information about the beer they are drinking, with the intention for this to become a standard for artisan and craft beers up and down the country allowing them to build a following and community around their brand.<\/p>\n

Veribli is a platform which allows brands to easily implement innovative RFID technology, creating smart products, smart packaging and interactive point of sale. This technology can be leveraged to support and engage with consumers, creating communities, enabling consumers to make informed decisions on a brands sustainability and social responsibility (CSR) credentials, verifying they are purchasing genuine, non-counterfeit products, get accessible information delivered for products use, such as recipes, instructional videos, virtual shopping assistants, care information and other rich content alongside information on how to reuse, refill and eventually recycle packaging, as well as accessing authorised repairers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe believe that the Smart Beer Pump technology we have created will allow smaller producers to compete against the big brands without the big brand marketing budgets. The engagement platform that backs up the Smart Technology within the pumps allows brands to engage with their customers and create communities around their unique offerings.
